Looking back at May 2020 – Sunshine is here & Luxury Hampers now available!

Another four weeks of lockdown with no guests to enjoy the beautiful garden, the freshly picked asparagus, Jersey Royals, chilled Rose wine, Gin cocktails, BBQ’s and cream teas ☹

Never mind ….. the sun shone almost constantly, there was an explosion of colour in the flower beds, the new wild flower meadow turned a brilliant green,  Chloe dusted off the paddling pool and we celebrated VE Day and Nanna’s birthday!

For the second month in a row, Chloe kept herself busy taking more shots of the garden which we share below for you to enjoy.

Here’s some news hot off the press – as from 1^st June, we are taking orders for takeaway cream tea and lunch hampers! They start at £17 per head and all the details can be found here.  Please do get in touch with any questions about variations in the menu and we will do our best to help.

For all those who had celebrations booked during May and early June, we will be in touch asap to arrange a new date once further restrictions have been lifted – everything is in place for social distancing and we cant wait to see you. Keep well xx
