Here’s some new additions to our Autumn Winter Menu
Tuna Tartare with Bloody Mary Granita
(Yellowfin Tuna diced and marinated in soy, ginger, lime & chilli served with a refreshing and punchy Bloody Mary Granita)
Deep Fried Calamari Rings with Dijon Cream and Tomato
(dipped in powdered seasoned panko breadcrumbs, deep fried and served on a bed of refreshing tomato cubes and a warm mustard cream sauce)
Lobster Risotto
(creamy, decadent and delicious served with a reduced lobster jus)
Salmon Fillet, cooked on Papillote with Fennel, Tomato and Pernod
(a light and delicate dish of salmon on a bed of thinly sliced fennel and tomato spiked with a dash of Pernod)
Lamb with Spicy Potato Cakes and Rogan Josh Sauce
(marinated loin of lamb served with a green chilli & cumin potato cakes on a bed of delicious delicately spiced RJ Sauce)
Candied Oranges with Orange Jelly and Chantilly Cream
(thinly sliced oranges poached in sugar syrup with home made orange jelly, orange dust and delicious Chantilly Cream)
Strawberry Choux Buns
(Crispy Choux buns filled with macerated strawberries with a whipped vanilla custard cream – to die for!)
Three course meals start from £35.00 per person and include canapes on arrival, mineral water and teas & coffees to end.
No corkage is charged on the wines you bring with you.

HALLOWEEN IN ROME
Well not quite Halloween but we left in the early hours on 1st November, after recovering from 26 different knocks on the door from all those Tick or Treaters!
First time visit for me; Rome is such a beautiful city, there’s something to see around every corner, we literally stumbled across the most magnificent fountains, churches, squares and statues – and so many of them. The highlights for me:- Colourful food markets with fresh, seasonal ingredients in abundance, the breath-taking vistas of Tuscany, the Cypress trees, the medieval hill top villages, the clear blue sky – the best truffles in oil I have ever tasted, creamy pecorino, sublime Chianti and aged, oaked syrupy balsamic vinegar!

How would you, or did you, celebrate your 80th Birthday? Have a big party for all your family and friends? Or maybe hire a restaurant for a grand dinner party? Or perhaps go on a luxury cruise? All classic ways to celebrate, but not too much fun if, like me, you have a very severe hearing loss and can’t cope in crowded noisy environments.
