A bit later on ……

….. when current restrictions are eased, we plan to resurrect our quarterly seasonal events commencing with our first Gardening Enthusiasts Luncheon on Saturday 27th March, 2021. This informal lunch is aimed at likeminded green figured enthusiasts to discuss and enjoy the many aspects of gardens and gardening – a chance to ask questions, solve problems, swap seeds & cuttings and share advice, hints and ideas.

After a tour of the garden, we will enjoy a three course lunch whilst our guest horticulturalist, Tess Moore demonstrates some Easter Floral ideas including a door wreath and table displays.

Tess is a professional gardener and florist with many years experience in both industries, covering all aspects of garden maintenance, planting and design with a natural style of floristry for wedding and party flowers.

She trained in horticulture at Hadlow college to RHS level 3, Certificate in Garden Design and various floristry courses from Paula Pryke to Sarah Raven, as well as working in an established Florist shop and the country house hotel Gravetye Manor for many years.

With a passion for growing flowers and vegetables from seed with special emphasis on border planting and cutting gardens, Tess loves a bee friendly cottage garden and her favourite flowers include Hellebores, Tulips, Roses, Peonies and Dahlias.

If you are interested in joining us, get in touch soon to reserve your place as numbers will be strictly limited. The price is £35.00 which includes lunch and refreshments plus a goody bag of the materials you will need (excluding flowers) to make your own arrangements at home.
