We can provide a safe, private environment and serve your meal in a spacious dining room for you and your guests to enjoy. Wrap up warm to enjoy the autumnal scenes in our beautiful garden. No hustle & bustle, no second-sittings or time constraints, no having to download apps or queue for the cloakrooms! You can discuss and decide on your menu options when you book and you can bring your own alcohol (no corkage applies) which will be kept on ice!

We do our very best to make your occasion one that you and your guests will remember. Our menus change regularly so you can choose from our most popular dishes (see below) or, with our help,  create a bespoke seasonal menu of your choice!

STARTERS

Mixed Mushrooms with Garlic & Emmental Cheese served with warm Ciabatta bread

Garlic mushrooms elevated to another level! Mixed mushrooms in a delicious creamy garlic sauce topped with Emmental, served with lots of Ciabatta to soak up all those juices

Twice Baked Gruyere & Bacon Souffle

Crispy smoked bacon, reduced cream and nutty Gruyere cheese make for a lavish starter = light, fluffy and decadent!

Butternut Squash Risotto with toasted walnuts & crispy, spiced Palma Ham

Butternut roasted in the oven and pureed with the tiniest amount of vanilla produces this creamy, luxurious puree which is added to the risotto, served with buttered, toasted walnuts and crisp, spiced Palma ham & parmesan shavings

Tian of Crab, Avocado & Plum Tomatoes with a dill vinaigrette

Little towers of fresh, white crab meat, diced avocado and a salsa of plum tomatoes drizzled with a dill vinaigrette

Oven roasted, Serrano Ham Croquettes

Inspired from a trip to San Sebastian, these are truly sublime … a crisp breadcrumb coating with an oozing creamy seasoned stuffing flavoured with Serrano ham. Served with Mojo Picante – a Spanish red pepper sauce

Homemade vegetable soup with croutons & herbs

Nothing like a bowl of homemade soup, made with celeriac, leeks, butternut squash, fennel, garlic, rosemary and a pinch of chilli – all whizzed up   and served with crispy croutons and a sprinkle of chopped herbs

Marinated Beetroot with Goat’s Cheese

Thin slices of marinated beetroot, served with tiny batons of fried beetroot sit on top of lightly whipped goat’s cheese served with a beetroot dressing, pine nuts & baby leaves

MAINS

Organic Chicken Supreme with sundried tomato butter, white bean puree, chorizo and mixed peppers

A Supreme of Chicken breast stuffed with a tomato flavoured butter and roasted. Served on a bed of creamy butter bean puree and sautéed peppers & chorizo

Individual Beef, Chorizo & Ale Pies served with Creamy Mash or Confit Garlic Roast Potatoes and seasonal vegetables

The smoky spice of chorizo works really well with the tender beef and rich gravy, all covered with buttery puff pastry

Winter Duck Ragout with Sweet Potato Mash spiced with ginger or Confit Garlic Roast Potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Duck legs trimmed of fat and skin, poached in wine, port and madeira until the sauce is reduced to a thick and syrupy glaze – delicious winter comfort food

Salmon with Ginger and Lime

Steamed on a bed of shredded leeks, tomatoes & carrots cooked en papillote with a light creamy lemon sauce served with potatoes and seasonal vegetables

Pan fried Cod Fillet with a creamy chive, tarragon, dill & parsley sauce served with baby boiled potatoes and seasonal vegetables

A chunky piece of cod fillet which has been pan fried and finished in the oven sits on a bed of rich, velvety cream and herb sauce

Monkfish with Tomato, Ginger and Garlic served with Confit Garlic Roast Potatoes and seasonal vegetables

A fillet of Monkfish pan fried in butter & lemon served on a bed of plum tomatoes, fresh ginger, garlic, chilli & white wine sauce, gently flavoured with coriander & parsley

Beef Bourguignon with Confit Garlic Roast Potatoes, Jacket Potatoes or Mash and seasonal vegetables

Takes two days to complete this dish – after marinating in full bodied red wine and gently cooked for 3 hours, the beef falls apart; smoked bacon lardons, baby onions & mushrooms are added to complete this heart-warming delicious dish

Lamb Rogan Josh with Fluffy Basmati Rice, Poppadum, Fresh Tomato Chutney, Coriander Chutney and Cucumber & Mint Raita

An Indian lamb curry to die for – intense spices in a creamy tomato curry sauce, the lamb falls apart and packs a serious flavour punch

Gratin of Roasted Butternut Squash, Leeks, Sweetcorn and Hazelnuts with a Gabriel Cheese Cream Sauce.

Individual portioned stacks of vegetables bound with the sauce, covered with a crust and baked in the oven served with seasonal vegetables

DESERTS

Spiced Plum & Apple Crumble with Vanilla Custard

Lightly spiced with cinnamon and star anise, the plums (and/or apples) are deliciously sweet and sticky, covered in a crunchy, nutty hazelnut flavoured crumble, served with vanilla custard and/or vanilla ice cream

Cinnamon Pavlovas with Caramelised Apples & Blackberries

Individual crispy, cinnamon flavoured meringues with whipped cream topped with warm caramelised apples and blackberries

Celebration Chocolate Mousse Cake with Raspberries & Blueberries

Chocolate cake topped with chocolate mouse topped with fruit, crème fraiche and Greek yoghurt

Pear and Amaretto Cheesecake

Pears poached in vanilla sugar syrup, mixed with cream cheese and amaretto liqueur sits on a bed of Nutella flavoured biscuits – no gelatine no baking

Cheese, Fruit & Chocolate Sharing Platter
